2025 is coming to a close, and before we welcome a new year, we must wrap up the old one. It doesn’t matter if you had the time of your life in 2025, or your 2025 resembled something from a horror movie; you have to close the chapter responsibly. This means answering 20 end-of-year reflection questions.
If you had a good time in 2025, then with these questions, you get to reminisce on the good memories and then figure out a way to bring that same energy into 2026. If 2025 sucked, then that means you learned a lot, and you get to take those lessons and make 2026 a great year.
Before I invite you to complete these journal prompts, I want us to be on the same page regarding the intention behind these questions. This is not the time to beat yourself up about things you did and didn’t do in 2025. This is the time to look back on the year you just had with curiosity. To be grateful that you survived it. Show yourself compassion and grace as you did everything you could to try to have a good year.
As you answer these questions, make sure to give yourself credit where credit is due, and lovingly hold yourself accountable when you need to.
Grab a journal and a pen and get ready to reflect on your 2025. Alternatively, I have created a free PDF with all the questions; you can answer the questions there or print the PDF.
